Maypole Lap/Baby Quilt
FREE SHIPPING! This handmade quilt measures 40” x 45” and is perfect for a lap quilt or a gift for a new bundle of joy. It is quilted using a combination of machine and hand stitches. The binding is hand stitched down using a big stitch technique, tying in the hand quilting. Because this quilt is handmade, it will have imperfections and inconsistencies only found in handmade items. Please note the 2 areas on the quilt that are highlighted in photos. The arrow is pointing to an area of fabric that has a manufacturer’s defect (this will not effect how it washes or its longevity). The second is a circle that highlights 3 stitches where the thread is slightly discolored (this also will not effect how it washes or its longevity). The price reflects these defects.
It is made from 100% cotton premium quilt shop quality fabric and thread with 100% cotton batting. Due to it being made from 100% cotton materials, expect 3 to 5% shrinkage when laundered. Wash gentle cycle on cold with Shout color catching sheets (to avoid color bleeding) and tumble dry on low or hang to dry for best results. The more this quilt is used and loved the softer it will become.
