I didn’t create the Usable Scrap Method because I’m a born organizer; I created it because I was tired of my fabric stash feeling like a burden instead of a resource. My mission is to give you the systems & patterns you need to clear the "scrap guilt" so you can spend more time actually quilting.
Mindy is the true backbone of the studio. As the self-appointed Chief Scrap Manager, her duties include rigorous "softness testing" (napping) on freshly cut fabric and ensuring that no stray thread goes un-chased. She’s results-driven, highly approachable, and can be easily bribed with high-quality treats or a stray bit of batting.
